Donald Trump is expected to be named Time magazine's "Person of the Year" and to celebrate the unveiling of the cover, the president-elect will ring the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday morning, Politico reported Wednesday citing three people familiar.
In late November, betting sites had President-elect Donald Trump as the favorite to win Time magazine's Person of the Year.
Nonetheless, it wouldn't be the first time Trump grabbed the accolade. Time made Trump its Person of the Year in 2016 after he defeated former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the presidential election. Trump has also appeared on the cover of Time more than 30 times, making him one of the publication's most frequently featured individuals.
The President-elect is expected to ring the opening bell at NYSE, the ceremonial start of the day's trading, according to four people with knowledge of his plans.
