Footage circulated on social media shows a very close encounter between a United States stealth fighter jet and a pair of Russian military aircraft, including a bomber, near Alaska.
A spokesperson for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) said in a statement to Newsweek that the flight maneuvers of the Russian aircraft shown in the video "are once again not what one would expect to see from a professional Air Force."
Newsweek has reached out to the Russian Defense Ministry for comment by email.
