President Trump headed to New York to participate in the Army-Navy football game’s coin toss.

On Saturday, the President received a standing ovation from the crowd at Michie Stadium in West Point, New York. He presided over the Army-Navy coin toss and was surrounded by not only football fans, but his own fans as well.

The President has been a part of the rivalry game over the past three years. Though no civilian fans were allowed to attend the event, the entire ‘Brigade of Midshipmen’ and ‘Corps of Cadets’ were at the stadium.

Despite the dense fog hovering overhead, a formation of U.S. Navy Blue Angels and Apache helicopters soared above. Saturday’s game was the first between the two teams to take place in West Point since 1943.

President Trump is one of three sitting presidents to attend three or more of the Army-Navy games. The game dates all the way back to 1890, when the Navy won the first-ever match-up.

With just hours left before the electoral college met for their vote, the President’s supporters greeted him as he touched down in Marine One. They chanted, “Don’t give up!”
