BREAKING: Hunter Biden indicted by federal grand jury on 9 counts related to his tax returns

Hunter Biden has been indicted by a federal grand jury on 9 counts related to his tax returns. The indictment includes felonies.

NBC News's Tom Winter broke the news on X.

Biden had charges brought against him by US Attorney acting as Special Counsel David Weiss in September related to false statements on a background check form to obtain a firearm. The charges related from those false statements cam after a plea agreement broke down breakdown in a Delaware courtroom. 

Legal expert Jonathan Turley speculated that these charges could be an attempt to disrupt Hunter Biden's congressional testimony that has been scheduled slated for December 13th. Biden was subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee and is expected to be asked about the relationship his father President Joe Biden has had with his foreign business deals over the years.
