BREAKING: Donald Trump calls on the Supreme Court to step in before July 11 sentencing

On Sunday, President Donald Trump called on the Supreme Court to intervene before the sentencing date for his Manhattan falsified business documents case, in which a jury found Trump guilty on 34 charges on Thursday.

Judge Merchan, who oversaw the case, is set to sentence President Trump on July 11, which comes just days before the RNC Convention in Wisconsin. Trump faces up to four years in jail for each charge.

"The 'Sentencing' for not having done anything wrong will be, conveniently for the Fascists, 4 days before the Republican National Convention. Before Trump's comments, there had been vocal concerns among the MAGA movement that Republicans would try to prevent Donald Trump from becoming the GOP nominee at the RNC Convention, replacing him with a different candidate due to the possibility of prison time.
