Biden White House promotes cop-hating, dress-wearing male official who wants to abolish ICE to be associate comms director

The Biden White House has hired Tyler Cherry as a new associate communications director. He is a controversial radical leftist activist who has called for ICE to be abolished, compared police to "slave patrols," spread anti-Republican hoaxes, and has been a staunch advocate of the gender identity movement.

Cherry, a male who wears makeup and women's clothing, was hired last week to be the White House's top climate communications aide after previously serving as Biden's Interior communications director under Secretary Deb Haaland, Politico reports.

The new communications director has sparked controversy in recent years over several of his social media posts.

Last year, Cherry came under fire after a resurfaced post on X, formerly Twitter, revealed that he has a severe distaste for law enforcement, in which he referred to police agencies as "slave patrols" and "lynch mobs."

"Praying for #Baltimore, but praying even harder for an end to a capitalistic police state motivated by explicit and implicit racial biases," Cherry wrote on X in 2015, referring to the death of Freddie Gray, a black man who died in Baltimore police custody, which sparked riots.
