Biden in 'good spirits' after colonoscopy, returns to White House from Walter Reed: Psaki

President Biden on Friday afternoon remains at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he went in the morning to get his annual checkup.

"@POTUS spoke with @VP and @WHCOS at approximately 11:35am this morning. @POTUS was in good spirits and at that time resumed his duties," White House press secretary Jen Psaki tweeted. "He will remain at Walter Reed as he completes the rest of his routine physical."

Biden's original schedule, released Thursday evening, showed that he would be participating in the annual Turkey pardoning ceremony at the White House and then traveling to Wilmington, Delaware.

In the morning, the White House announced Biden would be visiting Walter Reed for a colonoscopy.
