Attorney Confirms Brian Laundrie Took Camping Trip With Parents After Returning Home Without Gabby Petito

In a continual twist of events, the Laundrie’s family attorney confirmed Brian Laundrie and his parents went camping together nearly a week after he returned home without Gabby Petito. A public records request revealed Brian Laundrie’s mother checked in at Fort de Soto Park in early September, which lies about 75 miles from the family’s home in North Port, Florida.

The news comes as TV personality Dog the Bounty Hunter, whose real name is Duane Chapman, claimed he had received a tip that said the family had left the campground without him. The Laundrie attorney refuted the claim by saying all three left the park together.

However, the question of why Brian went camping with his parents just days after he returned to Florida without his fiancé has remained unanswered. Meanwhile,  the family of Gabby Petito have urged Brian Laundrie to turn himself in.

In a press conference on Tuesday, Petito family attorney Richard Stafford said they didn’t expect help from Brian Laundrie’s parents to find him.
