Biden Praises DeSantis & Throws Kamala Under The Bus

When asked on Wednesday if Florida Governor Ron DeSantis should take Vice President Kamala Harris's calls, President Joe Biden seemed to sidestep defending his vice president.

In recent days, Harris has criticized DeSantis for "selfishly" ignoring her calls, while DeSantis has accused her of "playing political games." Notably, Harris had not been involved in prior hurricane preparedness efforts before announcing her candidacy for president, in contrast to former Vice President Mike Pence, who actively participated during all four years of the Trump administration.

All I can tell you is I’ve talked to Gov. DeSantis. He’s been very gracious. He’s thanked me for all we’ve done. He knows what we are doing, and I think that’s important," President Biden told me when I asked if the governor should take @VP Harris' calls.
